Edy Irwansyah is a senior lecturer in geographic information systems and spatial intelligent systems at Bina Nusantara University.
He earned his Master’s degree from the University of Indonesia in 2001, from Salzburg University in 2008, and doctoral degree in computer science from Gadjah Mada University for his dissertation entitled ‘fuzzy inference and kriging modeling for earthquake building house damage assessment’.
As a lecturer, Edy teaches in the informatics engineering department at the school of computer science (SoCS), Bina Nusantara University. Since 2001, he has also been senior consultant in the area of mapping and geographic information systems for national and international development project since.
Edy has produced research since 2010 that is published in scientific publications, national and international seminars as well as national and international journals. Apart from the active contribution in education and research, he is also directly involved in community services. Edy Irwansyah is a member of Indonesian Association of Engineers (PII), IndoCEISS and IEEE.
