Pushidrosal (Pusat Hidrografi & Oseanografi TNI AL)
Laksma TNI Drs. Ir. Harjo Susmoro, S.H., M.H has built his career in the military – having served the nation since 1987. In November 2016, he was inaugurated as Head of Pushidrosal.
Pushidrosal is tasked with supporting Navy in the formulation of key national defence strategies and the growth of the nation’s maritime industry.
As the country’s sole provider of authoritative hydrography and oceanography data, Pushidrosal regularly produces a variety of data products, such as electronic navigational charts, thematic maps, paper maps, nautical science books and notifications to mariners, among other items.
Before his appointment as Head of Pushidrosal, he was the Deputy Assistant Operations of Indonesian Military Commander. During his career in the military, he has received numerous merit awards.
After graduating from the navy military academy as best student, he continued his further studies and now holds a Bachelor’s degree of State Administration from Unipra in 1992.
In addition, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science from Universitas Hang Tuah, a Bachelor’s degree in Laws from Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya (Untag) in 2006, and also Master of Laws from Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya (Untag) in 2006.
