Event Overview

Ready for a treasure hunt? Partner up and familiarise yourself with Esri’s mobile applications as you set out on the Amazing Race.

The three best teams will be awarded the following prizes:

  • 1st place: IDR 1,500,000

  • 2nd place: IDR 1,000,000

  • 3rd place: IDR 750,000

Please note:

  • Participants are required to sign in on the event date from 08:00 am  – 10:00 am WIB) at Hall of Room B101, FMIPA Indonesia University.

  • Failing to sign in will disqualify the registered team.

  • Participants must gather at 14.30 WIB in Rotunda University of Indonesia where they will be receive a technical briefing and instructions on Esri mobile applications.

Terms of Participation:

  • Two participants per team only

  • Participants must be aged between 15 and 25 years old

  • Participants must be in good health

  • Participants must wear comfortable clothes and sporty shoes

  • Participants must bring their own personal medicine

  • Participants are advised to bring umbrellas or raincoats in case it rains

  • Before the game starts, participants are required to install Survey123 for ArcGIS and Explorer for ArcGIS application in their own mobile phones

  • The committee will not provide the participants’ accomodation during the race.

Note: Free snacks will be provided

Term of Competitions:

  • To compete, the teams must install Esri mobile applications; Explorer for ArcGIS and Survey123 for ArcGIS.

  • Points are earned as each team fulfils its tasks as indicated in th clues.

  • The challenge is based on 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants are encouraged to read up about these goals before the race.

  • Each team will get additional points if they find the treasure, which must be plotted and photographed using Survey123 for ArcGIS as proof.

  • The winner will be determined based on the highest number of points achieved.

  • The decision of the committee is absolute and final.
