Esri Indonesia is taking the annual GIS Day to a whole new level by turning the usual one-day event to a week-long celebration.
In partnership with Bina Nusantara University, Esri Indonesia is hosting a series of action-packed activities designed to give attendees a unique GIS experience. So whether you’re a GIS expert, a decision-maker or a beginner in GIS – you’re bound to enjoy the exciting line-up of activities in the country’s biggest GIS celebration.
The GIS Week consists of six tracks:
An event where experts from public, private and technology sector, and academia come together to discuss some of the most important topics of this era. Our speakers will talk about the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, Smart Data Driven processes, and the potential of Geo Artificial Intelligence for automating workflows. This Talkshow is a unique opportunityto meet experts who can answer your questions about spatial technology, and how you can apply it to the sector that you work in.
We have designed a workshop to teach you how to learn about developing apps using ArcGIS APIs and SDKs. You will be able to discover the latest GIS technology and do hands-on with two of our best Esri Indonesia trainers guiding you through. You can then go ahead and build your own apps to solve real life problems. Certificates are provided for the workshop attendees.
Showcase the latest technology used by different industries, the creative solutions created by students, GIS community and Esri. Mobile applications, web-based solutions and VR technology related to GIS will be displayed in the Gallery. All participants are welcomed and free of charge. This interesting exhibition of technology will be held in the Bina Nusantara University lobby during the GIS Week.
A nationwide competition among students or fresh graduates between 15 to 25 years old, it is all about "location intelligence solutions". The deadline to send your prototypes is Wednesday, 10 October 2018. Our judges will select five best teams to present in Bina Nusantara University and get a chance to be hired by reputable companies. The winners will be announced during the closing ceremony on 26 October.
Get a chance to grow your skills and deepen your expertise in the latest technology – an interactive learning class where you can get best practice advice, product support and best ArcGIS tips and tricks. Hear the technology experts in nine breakout sessions in three different classes – covering all stages of technical expertise from beginner to advanced. Expand your professional network and meet other analysts, developers, students and like-minded professionals. Class will be divided to Geo-Science Class, Developer Class and Business Analyst Class.
The Industry Forum is a highly-interactive event that offers valuable opportunities to connect, network, and collaborate with fellow decision-makers and GIS expert in your industry. Hear the location strategies of private, commercial organisations and government and learn how it helped support their many missions. Speakers and panellist will be from subject matter experts on selected industries.
