A GIS enthusiast, Adipandang has 17 years’ experience in conducting teaching studies, training, research, and services related to GIS engineering in regional and urban solutions.
He has carried out various studies that range from spatial analysis in the areas of regional & urban planning, spatial Augmented Reality, spatial IoT, geographic agent-based modelling, spatial Deep Learning, LiDAR, GIS + BIM, and Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI).
Most recently, he compiled a spatial regression study of Regional Original Income (PAD) Kab. Blitar, East Java in assessing economic resilience during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. In that same year, he also received the Esri Indonesia GIS award for Education 2020 in the GIS Influencer category.
Adipandang was appointed as a national jury for the assessment of geospatial information management in 2018, 2019, and 2020, and was also a member of the 2019 Malang City Electronic Based Government System (SPBE) drafting team.
