Effective 1 March 2026, ArcGIS Desktop, including ArcMap, ArcScene, ArcGlobe and ArcCatalog will be retired, and the version of ArcGIS Pro released thereafter will no longer support Concurrent Use licences. Maintenance benefits for these applications will no longer be available after this date. However, maintenance benefits for ArcGIS Pro and the Creator user type will continue through the end of the current maintenance period.
‘Get Back on Maintenance’ (GBOM) program discontinued
The ‘Get Back on Maintenance’ (GBOM) program for ArcGIS Desktop and Enterprise will be discontinued, aligned with the retirement of ArcGIS Desktop on 1 March 2026 and updates to ArcGIS Enterprise entitlements. Existing GBOM quotes will be honoured until 1 February 2026.
Going forward, customers who do not renew maintenance or subscriptions will need to pay renewal fees in arrears. For ArcGIS Enterprise customers with lapses over six months, the current business model and entitlements in the productization plan will apply.
