Hokkop Situngkir is an experienced practitioner of renewable energy and building construction. He has over a decade of experience in various industries, including non-profit organisation management.
While he currently serves as Founder and Executive Director of the IDNextLeader Foundation, he also manages multiple roles in many organisational accounts.
These include Technical and Operational Director at PT Waskita Sangir Energi (a subsidiary of PT Waskita Karya Persero), being on the KUN Humanity System Board Of Advisory in Renewable Energy, Technical Advisor in PT. Daya Bumi Energi, Former Director of PT. Waskita Karya Energi, and Founder and President Director of PT. Energi Inovasi Desakota.
Some notable renewable energy projects he has overseen include the Hydro Power Plant in Bengkulu, West Sumatra (2x5 MW) and West Java (50 MW).
