What’s new in the fellowship program for professionals in 2023?
All professionals will participate in four (4) weeks of fundamental GIS classes after which a selection process will take place.
Those who qualify after attending the classes will be invited to join mentoring sessions over four (4) weeks and to build a learning project.
You will be required to present your project with ArcGIS Story Maps and present it to respected organisations along with Esri Indonesia team.
What will I gain as a professional participating in the fellowship program?
The fellowship program allows you to:
- Level up your own professional GIS skill & recognition from your organisation
- Connect and learn with other professionals from various industries
- Build your own GIS Portfolio
- Obtain a recognised certificate from Esri Indonesia
What are the program dates?
- Registration: 5 December 2024 - 12 January 2025
- Announcement: 16 January 2025
- Technical Meeting: 17 January 2025
- Workshop: 20 January - 14 February 2025
- Mentoring announcement: 20 February 2025
- Mentoring session: 24 February - 14 March 2025
How do I apply and what documents do I need?
Please submit your application, where you will be required to provide:
- A complete application
- A description of your learning plan or the solution that you want to develop
Will this year’s fellowship be virtual?
Yes, to enable participants from all over Indonesia to join this program, the fellowship will be conducted virtually/online.
Can I apply in a group?
Yes, but the application is only for one person at a time.
Will the project work be done individually or in a group?
The assigned project might be done as a group, but each participant is still required to make and submit their own motivation letter when applying.
Is there any cost to join this program?
No, this program is completely free of charge but participant will need to go through a selection process.
