Adiwan Aritenang

Adiwan Aritenang is an Assistant Professor and researcher at the School of Architecture, Planning and Policy Development Agency in Institut Teknologi Bandung. Presently, he is the Coordinator for his Department’s Laboratory of Spatial and Computational Analysis (LABSCAN) and he is involved in developing a double degree masters program with ITC - University of Twente on GIS for Urban Planning. In 2013 he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) where he wrote his book on Indonesia regional development. He obtained his PhD in Regional Economics at the University College London (UCL), UK. His teach and research ranges from GIS, spatial economics, decentralisation, and creative cities.
