Sumi Amariena Hamim – more popularly known as Arien – has contributed greatly to academia and community through years of exceptional work in the areas of research, community services, published essays and books, and conference presentations.
Her expertise lies in GIS technology, hydrology, and civil engineering in the environment, while her most recent research project was on Urban Poverty Response Management in the COVID-19 Pandemic using GIS. Arien’s work has been recognised by different government agencies, associations, and institutions.
